In my opinion that is necessary to put that power on the road. Otherwise you wont be able the use the power under your ass! Would be nothing but burn-out! So I found a "wide" wheel which has 4x100 stud pattern. :) ACT BBS RS1 front wheels are: J8x16 and Dunlop Sport 2000 205/45R/16 tires and rear wheels are J11x17 ET12 with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 245/45ZR/17 tires on it. :)

at the beginning... Subframe and differential...
As I mentioned before the first cassis was very rusty I would say "sieve". :) So I`ve just swapped for another one. First one was a black one the new base is a blue one. That`s why you can see on some pictures black and on others blue E21 body. By the first plan I wanted to install and use an E30 (E34) small or medium case diff. Why? You have more chance of finding an E30 LSD then an E21 LSD. (I also have to mention the big difference between the price and the ratio range.) I found unsolvable of putting the E30 diff into an E21 subframe. It just wasn`t. :) That was the first lesson if you really want something YOU CAN DO IT! We had cut off the midde part of an E30 and an E21 subframe and we just welded the E30 frame into an E21. :) Voila! It`s done:
As the E30 diff wider than E21 diff I had to reduce the length of the half axles by 15mm. It was the first plan and plans have always been changing. :) This modification above happened in ~ 2005 and I just changed my mind lately. :) Why again?? :) Because E30 small and large case diffs are just also not strong enough (TYP 168 and TYP 188). So Im selling my small case E30 non-LSD diff with 3.38 ratio. As I discovered on forums there are couple of diffs which have 210 large case and also just simple bolt on E30 (E34) subframe. This one:
This diff case is from BMW E23. Part no:
8 bolts for the side bearing seals

Lets get started...
Well... however a lot to write I wont start to explain everything from the beginning because sometimes I wont have time or because this building takes that long I wont remember every details. I hope my pictures will talk...
I dont expect visitors or comments but if someone will visit my "blog" then have a nice time spending.
I started to build this car maybe six years ago. Why? Because I love this shape of BMW. This car has been my second car after a Lada 1200. :) Plenty of memory of mine belong to this car and I just wanted to do something with it. Something that makes me happy and keeps my memory and my youthness in a car in a garage. I will never forget that feeling what this car has given to me every time when I put my ass into it. Its legendary BMW E21 dashboard around me when I sit in. I wanted to keep this shape and interior but I also wanted to change everything that I dont like.
So... At that time I decided not to sell it. I kept it. (for a while :) The original body was black and fuckin` rusty. I was necessary to find a younger body instead. Well I have found a younger blue one. Unfortunately the original black one had to go to the scrap yard.
I planned to build an E21 Turbo with an M20 engine. A lot of people install an M30 in their E30 because there are bigger engines (more raw power) available. In my opinion they`re just simple too heavy and M20 also contains unused power. That was proved by many people on the web.
Eg. Keld Jakobsen`s BMW E21 M20B27 in 2006
600 HP at 1,5 bar
677 HP at 1,8 bar
820 HP in 2007 by an M20 turbo.
I still believe in M20 power however M50, M52 and other 4 valves engines are potentially improving combustion efficiency and hence power. In my country (Hungray) isnt that simple. We are not allowed to install "foreign engines" in our cars by law. Thats also a big joke and would deserve another blog but not now. Thats why I vote on M20 Turbo.
The base has been an M20B25 engine with 885 big valve cylinder head. What do I want? A strong and stable M20 engine over 300 HP and just for fun. No drifting no drag racing. If I start to do something or decide to do something I wont stop. It must be done! Even if I have to make sacrifices but it must be done without "risk".
If you have ever started or even your were in car building you should know it takes fuckin` a lot money. Well.. when I started I made clear something in myself. It might not cause any problems in my personal life or in my relationship and it may not cause financial problem for me. Ok... too much talk.
On this first picture my new BMW E21 body with a slice of lorry intercooler which wont be installed. Why? Because I sold it already. :) It was impossible to squeeze behind of this shark front. It needs a custom cooler:
Isnt big but small space doesnt let make bigger one. :( Hopefully this cooler will be done in next summer as I want to finish this building finally in next year. I have more important tasks to finish first.
To be continued...
